James is a seasoned recruitment professional with over 13 years experience working in the digital commerce and technology sector. Initially focused on a military career, James found his calling in sales and after a few years working as a Consultant for agencies in the City, James went on to found Simply Commerce alongside Tim Roedel in 2013, marking the beginning of a successful career in the industry.
Throughout his time at Simply Commerce, James has demonstrated exceptional success in sales, both individually and as a leader – and by his own admission, there isn’t much he hasn’t done. Career highlights have included James leading the company’s expansion into the German market, successfully establishing the first international office in Dusseldorf and achieving a remarkable €1 million GP within just 18 months. Committed to fostering connections within the digital commerce community, James is a regular presence at networking events and is also a familiar face as host of our well-received podcast, The FOD.
