Our client is an established digital transformation consultancy with a reputation as one of the best in Europe. The Technical Lead is responsible for leading technical project teams, developing web applications, Shopify Apps and contributing to client pitches.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Direction: Lead technical planning, architectural decisions, and overall technical direction of the project in alignment with requirements and best practices.
- Delivery & Planning Ownership: Drive the breakdown, estimation, and delivery of epics, features, and complex work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Code Quality & Standards: Set and enforce engineering standards, documentation (HLD/LLD, CI/CD, VCS), and lead rigorous code reviews.
- Incident Management & Reliability: Lead incident reviews, guide resolutions, and drive improvements to system stability and reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Decision-Making: Work closely with PMs, BAs, architects, and client decision-makers, clearly justifying technical decisions and aligning on goals.
- Team Leadership, Mentoring & Culture: Manage and support the team through delegation, mentorship, conflict resolution, continuous learning, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Experience/Skills
- Ability to design scalable solutions and communicate ideas and recommendations with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Experitse in Shopify, Liquid, Javascript, GraphQL
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD workfows
- Experience leading small development teams
- Ability to participate in and/or lead tech design authority session
