Our client is an established retail brand with a strong high street presence. This is an important role in their in-house engineering team as they look to modernise their front end technology stack by migrating on to a React based framework.
Responsibilities:
This is a varied role that covers the following:
- Implement responsive UI improvements across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences
- Support business-as-usual releases, incident fixes, promotions and optimisation initiatives
- Work closely with UX, Product, Merchandising and QA teams to deliver new features
- Ensure code quality, performance, and compatibility across browsers
- Build and enhance customer-facing features on our existing Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
Skills/Experience:
- Strong commercial frontend development experience
- Commercial experience with React and Typescript in an eCommerce environment (any platform)
- Experience building responsive, customer-facing web experiences
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Git and JIRA
- API integration experience
