Simply Commerce are partnered with a fashion retailer who are looking to hire a AWS Serverless Engineer, and are advocates for empowering their target audience and customer base to encourage body positivity.
Having recently migrated away from Magento and PHP to composable architecture, with best of breed technologies and products, they are looking for an Engineer to work on bringing the integrations across the different components in their tech ecosystem, in house.
They have an ambitious roadmap to continue their tech innovation which will entail pricing and stock automation as well as integrations with marketplaces. You will be joining them at the start of a new journey as they build out advanced retail management systems.
This is a DevOps role, you support what you build, using CI/CT/CD and Infrastructure as Code to ensure resilience from the start.
Experience/Skills:
- You’ve had a successful software engineering career to this point, and you’re looking for a new role with responsibility, one in which you make and live by your own decisions
- You are comfortable with serverless technologies and event flows, ideally within AWS
- The clients are currently built using SST and Node (TypeScript), with some Python thrown in where needed, but open to new ideas
- Typescript
- AWS (Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway)
- API’s (REST, Graph QL)
- Node.js
- CI/CT/CD
- eCommerce experience would be highly beneficial
