MuleSoft Integration Architect

An international bank stationed in London is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Architect with a depth of MuleSoft experience to join a small technology team.

This role will be responsible for building and running the Bank’s enterprise integration layer on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The position requires a hands-on Architect who is willing to involve in the detail and be hands on if required. This is not a pure documentation position. The role holder will act as the Bank’s MuleSoft subject matter expert and technical design authority for integration, and will build reusable, secure and well-governed APIs using API-led connectivity Combines integration architecture, standards and governance with hands-on development and delivery

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the Bank’s integration architecture and roadmap using API-led connectivity
  • Produce solution designs, integration specifications, sequence diagrams and interface control documents for change and project governance
  • Design integrations between Salesforce and core banking, cards and payments using MuleSoft
  • Develop payment integration across multiple platforms
  • Provide third-line support for integration incidents, including root-cause analysis and permanent fixes
  • Mentor developers, and review code and designs from internal staff and third-party vendors

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a MuleSoft architect or technical lead on enterprise-scale programmes
  • Hands-on integration experience with Temenos T24/Transact and with Backbase
  • Experience with remittance or cross-border payment integrations
  • Hands-on experience integrating verification APIs and messaging frameworks into banking or payment journeys
  • Experience working in a regulated bank or financial institution

Please note: This is a 12 month FTC – Perm option thereafter
