Marketing Director

The Marketing Director owns the development and execution of marketing strategy to strengthen our brand, drive high-quality convertible leads, position us as a thought-leader in the Shopify and eCommerce ecosystems and drive revenue growth. This role will work closely with the Business Development Director to deliver well-qualified leads through targeted campaigns, content development, events, and partnerships. The role will also be responsible for shaping and launching our go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products and to support early commercial traction quantifiable ROI.  

 The Marketing Director will also be a member of the Senior Leadership team, contributing to business strategy and operational tactics for the business and ensuring our marketing investments deliver measurable, long-term revenue growth.  

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the proposition for the Shopify and Integration practices ensuring clear positioning as the leading enterprise Shopify consultancy in Europe.  
  • Develop and scale partner-marketing programmes, including co-marketing initiatives, joint case studies, and channel-based demand generation strategies 
  • Plan and execute lead generation campaigns to drive qualified leads into the pipeline. 
  • Plan and execute account-based marketing (ABM) programmes targeted at priority enterprise accounts 
  • Develop the strategy for the annual marketing event calendar 
  • Participate in relevant industry events and trade shows 
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance dashboards to track marketing contribution 

Experience/Skills

  • Experience in a leadership B2B marketing position, ideally within technology, digital agencies, or eCommerce environments. 
  • Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies that deliver qualified leads and measurable growth. 
  • Experience in Shopify, eCommerce, or digital product marketing. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems. 
  • Demonstrable experience with ABM programmes and enterprise-level multi-stakeholder campaigns. 
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery. 
  • Experience with event planning and execution.
