A boutique consultancy based in London are signing a new client, and they’re looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to join the team on an exciting Business Central implementation. The consultancy works with a range of different industries, from Retail & Fashion to Distribution & Logistics. This end client is a manufacturer who sells into trade.
Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops with end clients to gather business requirements and understand current processes
- Capture and document functional requirements, translating business needs into practical Business Central solutions
- Produce functional design documentation, including solution designs, process flows and functional specifications
- Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support warehouse and manufacturing processes, including inventory, production, BOMs and warehousing
- Work closely with technical consultants and developers to deliver effective, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements
- Deliver end-user training and provide go-live support to ensure successful adoption of the solution
- Assist with post-implementation support and process improvements to optimise Business Central functionality
Skills/Experience:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
- Prior history of BC implementation
- Experience within the Manufacturing industry focusing on production BOMs
- LS central experience preferred but not essential
