Account Manager

A power house full-service digital agency who prides themselves as a lead Shopify partner in the ecosystem is looking for an Account Manager to join thei ambitious and growing team.

You will be pivotal in fostering and maintaining strategic relationships, as well as, overseeing the delivery of technical projects to meet timelines and expectations. Staying ahead of the curve of Shopify updates and eCommerce trends, you will provide proactive, tailored recommendations to enhance client success.

Location: South-West England office, with the pption to be fully remote within the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with high-value clients and be a trusted advisor, offering guidance on eCommerce strategy, technical solutions, and best practices tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to create customised growth strategies that drive measurable results, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the execution of technical projects within retained accounts, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues before they escalate.
  • Stay informed on Shopify updates, eCommerce trends, and industry developments, using this knowledge to provide proactive recommendations and insights. Identifiying opportunities for account growth.
  • Seek operational excellence and add value to our account delivery function by identifying areas for improvement and implementing clear processes.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in an eCommerce account management position either within an agency or within an eCommerce end customer
  • Competant with the Shopify platform to be able to understand and communicate with customers and the internal agency teams.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels, as well as, a gravitas to build rapport and foster relationships.
  • Experience with project managing retainer projects for customers within eCommerce.
